Writer's block, be gone! Come to a workshop on writing tips to help you start to get your creative mind going to write your best story ever. Some prompts will be given, and tips for where to even begin your writing journey will be taught.

This is our last STEM Club 2024 to 2025 program for ages 7 and older.

Babies love books! This program uses fingerplays, songs, action rhymes, and books to promote the development of early literacy skills. For babies 6 months old to 24 months old and their caregiver.

Teens and Tweens are invited to play Dungeons and Dragons on the first Saturday of each month.

Play is an important part of child development. We'll be hosting a playgroup for children ages 0 to 5 and their caregivers most Mondays. Come meet other parents in the community and find friends for your little ones! Free.

Sports Medicine Acupuncture Specialist Carrie Sawtell, L.Ac. will guide you through easy exercises to help bring your body into alignment at the Windsor Public Library on Monday, May 5 at 6:30 PM.

At Silent Book Club, there's no assigned reading. All teen and adult readers are welcome and it's BYOBook (or browse the Windsor Public Library shelves!). Settle in for about 45 minutes of silent, sustained reading.

Join Kidspace for an early literacy storytime for ages 2-4 on select Tuesdays. We will share stories, songs, rhymes, and tips for caregivers. Each storytime is followed by a craft. 

Join us select Tuesdays in March, April and May for an afternoon of crafting! Each week, we will do a different craft. Prepare to bring your creativity! Registration is required for each session.

Talk to an expert who can provide information and support for basic needs on the first Tuesday of every month. Meet one of Windsor Social Service's friendly and knowledgeable caseworkers at the Main Library.

Join our Afternoon Book Club for a lively discussion of The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt. Discussions are held on the second Thursday of every month from 2:00 to 3:00 PM in Meeting Room 1.

Pamela Gray from Winter Bee Garden in Ledyard will conduct a workshop on how to create the perfect arrangement of spring flowers. Participants learn the five elements in creating a stunning market bouquet, then build their own arrangements.

April Showers brought May flowers and now you get to use them in a craft! Join us for a springtime project creating one of a kind jar lanterns using an assortment of pressed flowers.

Yoga Storytime is a fun way for children to bring stories to life using their body, mind, and breathe as well as learn mindful practices that they can use in their daily lives. Recommended for ages 3 and up.
