Month Calendar

Homeschool families are welcome to join us for a kids book club on select Wednesdays at 10:30 AM. This book club is geared to children ages 8-12 and their caregiver and facilitated by 2 local homeschoolers with support from their mom.

We are back with discussions of aliens, ghosts, haunted locations, extreme diseases, and parapsychology including ESP, telepathy and psychokinesis. This month we are talking about Ghosts! Ghosts! And More Ghosts! 

Giraffes, Tigers, Wolves, Oh My! Let's learn about wild animals and have fun! We'll listen to stories, songs, poems, and jokes. And we'll do some crafts . Please register for this program.

Get the New Year off to a healthy start by joining us for an informative talk and cooking demo with Registered Dietitian, Sarabeth Campanelli of Well Everyday.

We continue with our fun monthly math game storytime. Counting, adding, funny riddles, stories, and activities will be part of this special program. Ages 3+ and their caregivers. Please register.

Sports Medicine Acupuncture Specialist Carrie Sawtell, L.Ac. will guide you through easy exercises to help bring your body back into balance at the Windsor Public Library on Monday, January 26 at 6:30 PM.

Raising Kids in a Digital World is a fun, 45-minute program where children and their parents or caregivers can explore healthy digital habits together through storytime, creativity, and movement. Please register. For ages 2 to 7.

Welcome to the Preschool Playlab! This program will begin with a storytime and then transition into exploratory play stations where children will engage with hands-on learning based on the storytime theme. 

Bring in puzzles and board games that you no longer want or use to the library from January 17 through January 30. Items in good condition will be accepted for all age levels. The actual swap is on Saturday, January 31. 

At Silent Book Club, there's no assigned reading. All teen and adult readers are welcome and it's BYOBook (or browse the Windsor Public Library shelves!). Settle in for about 45 minutes of silent, sustained reading.
