Presented by Ron Feuchs and Jackie Tepper, partners at Stand Out For College LLC, this virtual presentation will offer to help families of high school juniors, sophomores, and freshmen better understand the college admissions process and how to successfully navigate today’s changing landscape.

The session will cover current admissions trends and strategies, the evolving test optional environment, the importance of researching and visiting colleges to find the right fit, and key timelines and action steps that can make this season productive while easing stress along the way.

They will also take a close look at the holistic admissions review process, including what admissions officers value when evaluating applicants and how students can develop a strong personal narrative that reflects their strengths, interests, and experiences.

Another focus will be on the role of community service and how meaningful involvement can foster personal growth, strengthen a student’s character, and demonstrate a positive impact on others. Admissions officers consistently place great emphasis on character, and thoughtful service can help students show initiative and a genuine commitment to helping their communities.

This program is recommended for parents and their high school teens. It provides a clear and strategic overview of what students should prioritize for a successful college admissions journey and how to approach the process with confidence and less stress.
