The life and work of sculptor and Windsor resident Evelyn Beatrice Longman are profiled in the book Evelyn Beatrice Longman: The Woman Who Sculpted Golden Boy, Thomas Edison, and Other Monuments. 

The author Pat Hoerth Batchelder will read passages from the book and answer question about Longman's life and career. 

Pieces of Longman's sculpture as well as related photographs will be on display in Meeting Room 1 from 12:30-1:00PM, followed by the book talk from 1:00-2:30PM. There will be a tour of Longman's sculpture on the Loomis Chaffee campus following the program for a limited number of attendees.
