Poetry Writing Workshop with Manchester Poet Laureate Ryan Parker: Write A Poem About Nature

Join Windsor poet, Kathryn Parker and Manchester, CT Poet Laureate Ryan T. Parker as they take you on a journey of poetics generating a brave space for nature poems to bloom. Through this experience participants will engage in some poetic push-ups, exercising original language, and will then apply techniques gained from that exercise to the creation of nature-themed poems. This journey will also include time for poets to share their creations as we hold community space and support everyone throughout the process of poeming! How do you connect with the natural environment?
