Ryan McCarthy is a cartoonist and author that has created a multi-part graphic novel series called Tamashi, a story about a girl lost in a new world called the Ancient Land. TheTamashi series includes many themes concerning living with special needs, as Ryan is an advocate for awareness for people with special needs, including but not limited to autism and Asperger's. Come join Ryan as he shares how the graphic novel series came to be and how he incorporated his own life experiences into this work.
